I did this Chinese to English translation sample as a test and was told that the reviewers did not like what I did.  I found another translated version where the translator adopted an entirely different approach from mine (Alternative translation).  Here is my proposed translation with some amendments from what I have submitted, what do you think? (Original text is Simplified Chinese while American English is the target language).

我们公司新系列的汽车是执着进取、积极乐观、懂得分享的，他是一个怀抱梦想、专研于技术的工程师，同样也是一个充满智慧、致力以技术赋予更多人乐趣的工程师，核心诉求就是“享受智造的乐趣”。

The core pursuit of our new series of cars is to “Enjoy the fun in intelligence”.  Engineered to persevere and forge ahead in all conditions, the car projects the positive, an optimism, a generosity. As the engineers who design it, the car embraces their dreams, their focus on technology as well as their intellect and commitment to bring joy to more people with technology.

发展是不断向前开拓的过程，充满了曲折和未知，选择前进，就要敢于面对挫折，敢于接受挑战，敢于突破一切桎梏。在革新前行的道路上，我们以乐观从容面对各种变化。乐观是经历过起伏后的豁达，是技术先行者的胸襟和自信。正是这股积极进取的乐观精神，成就了我们独特的“智造”之道。
Development is a continuous onward process on a path littered with twists and the unknowns.  When we choose to move ahead, we must have the courage to brave the obstacles, accept the challenges and break all shackles. On the road of innovation, we calmly face all changes with optimism. Optimism is a mind broadened by ups and downs, it is the generosity and confidence of a technology pioneer. It is this aggressive desire to succeed powered by optimism that creates our unique way of “smart manufacturing”.
