One is barely half-way up the mountains when the sun begins to set.
Dangerously stranded among perilously steep cliffs,
Skyward, one looks to heaven for protection,
And refuge on earth will soon be given.
签意/Meaning
淘沙见金人处险境之象。凡事有贵人之兆也。
Sifts the sand to find gold, one caught in a dangerous situation. A good omen where you can expect help from someone of influence.
解曰/Interpretation
凿石见玉 淘沙见金 须要着力 只是劳心
（另：困厄之境 无处安身 求神庇佑 祈可放心）
Jade is revealed only after the stone is chiseled. Gold is found after the sand is sifted. You need to put in some effort. (Alternative: Trapped in a bad situation with no safe place to hide. Seek protection from the Gods and you would be fine.)
