不觉一朝头耸出
禹门一跳过龙宫
A fish? A dragon? Looks different but they are the same,
Patiently they wait in deep waters for their luck to turn.
Suddenly one day, one rears its head
And in one leap, crosses the Dragon Gate.

– 龙门，也称禹门，被认为是通往龙宫或上天玉皇大帝皇宫的大门。
– A Dragon’s gate is believed to be the entrance either to the Dragon Palace in the sea or the Jade King’s Palace in Heavens.
签意/Meaning
鱼龙未变之逸象。凡事待时至可也。
A fish has yet to transform into a dragon. Everything will be in place if you only wait.
解曰/Interpretation
虽是滋基 也要待时 营谋自本 切莫妄为
Even with a well-nourished foundation, one needs time to flourish. Manage and plan your own affairs and do not be arrogant and reckless.
