水中捞月费工夫
费尽工夫却又无
莫说闲言并乱语
枉劳心力强身孤
Fishing the moon out of waters,
All that efforts for nothing that matters.
Refrain from idle talk and false rumors,
That exhaust the soul and make the isolation stronger.
签意/Meaning
贪求费力之象。凡事劳心费力也。
Futile attempts to satisfy one’s greed, your endeavors and efforts will come to nothing.
解曰/Interpretation
言诺难思 费力劳心 宅中忧虑 待遇贵人
Empty words are meaningless, they waste efforts and exhaust your mind. There is sorrow and worry in your household, wait for the arrival of your distinguished patron.
