If you want to have a happy life, don’t ever buy consumer electronics products from Philips. It will only make your life more miserable as it has made mine. I bought the pressure cooker and within the first 9 months, I have already sent it in three times for repair! Worse, the thing spoiled my ingredients, and Philips insisted that either I deliver the set to the service center myself or pay for delivery and pick-up, and three times! You will end up like me, wasting time, resources, perfectly good ingredients, electricity and all that for an appliance that is supposed to make cooking “faster and more convenient”. And it does not give you “perfectly cooked meals”, it spoiled your food “perfectly”, and spoiled the day for your family “perfectly”. And not to mention washing this is also a nightmare.

Obviously, the product is defective and probably made from cheap plastic parts. Don’t make the mistake I’ve made. Buying from any cheaper Chinese brands will be a better investment than Philips. I mean, it’s similar cheap plastic parts and it costs so much less, and you won’t feel the pinch, unlike paying so much extra for the Philips brand name that is totally worthless. Branded products are supposed to carry the “quality” that the brand promises, and in Philips’ case, that quality does not exist.

Worse, Philips does not offer good customer service. The few times, I called, the staff just kept repeating from their scripts instead of addressing my questions and issues.
